Kim Tindall

Kim Tindall, a native San Antonian, attended Angelo State University where she would graduate, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  She received her Certified Shorthand Reporter license and Registered Professional Reporter certification, upon graduating from Stenograph Institute of Texas.

Kim began reporting in 1982; and in 1983, she opened Kim Tindall & Associates, Inc., which grew to be one of the largest reporting firms in Texas. In 1997, Kim sold KTA to a publicly traded entity where she would remain for 12 years. Ultimately, becoming Vice President of Regional Operations, Kim successfully managed over $50M in gross revenue while overseeing the Western and Southwest regions of the U.S. The company’s services would grow to include trial consulting, electronic data discovery, and a national referral service among its core lit-support services. Still being the instinctive, driven, and proficient entrepreneur she was in 1984, Kim re-launched Kim Tindall & Associates, LLC in February 2009 with Lorree Castile. Today, KTA retains its HUB certified distinction and offers the same core services they have throughout the years to their clients both statewide and nationally.

In 2001, Kim was appointed by the Texas Supreme Court to serve a six-year term on the Texas Court Reporters Certification Board. In September of 2014, the Texas Supreme Court appointed her to the newly formed Court Reporter Advisory Board to the Judicial Branch Certification Commission. She serves as one of seven members on the State Board, and sits on a three-person committee that oversees disciplinary actions against reporters in Texas.

As an active member in the community, Kim provides “Court Reporting 101” CLE presentation to students, legal associations, and law firms. She is also active in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society where she won the title of National All Star Woman of the Year during the LLS 2014 National All Star campaign.
